Astrid the Therapy Dog

Astrid's Story
IMG_5625 2.jpg

Astrid is a Great Pyrenees. She is a bit small for a Pyrenees only 75 lbs, so she may be a mix.

Astrid was rescued in June of 2019 from Oklahoma. She arrived very sick and barely able to walk. Astrid has improved quite a bit but she has some arthritis and a slight limp. This does not keep her from enjoying walks, playing with other dogs and coming to work every day.

Astrid loves her job and she is happy to interact with clients in therapy as much or as little as is desired by the client. She has been appreciated by many client's working through trauma.
